Not Accepting Book Donations
We appreciate your kindness but we will not be accepting book donations between December 1 and March 1. Please consider these other community organizations for donations: Mission Thrift Store, Salvation Army Thrift Store, and Value Village.

Secret Gift of Reading
December 1 to 23 Fill out the Secret Gift of Reading form and we’ll wrap up a reading surprise for you! Check it out, unwrap it at home and enjoy your Secret Gift of Reading.
We want your non-hybrid seeds. Please take some extra steps to save seeds for others and return them to the seed lending library to keep it self-sustaining. Drop seed donations off at the Circulation Desk.

The Owen Sound Mini Con will be taking place on Saturday, May 6.
We're looking for artists or makers to take part in this comics and fandom focused event. Applications for exhibitors and vendors who would like to be part of OSMiCon’s Artists’ Alley are available now. Deadline for applications is April 4.
Vendors will be charged a small $15 fee to participate that will be used to help support OSMiCon.

Authors Paul White and Eric Zweig talk about hockey, research, writing nonfiction and more. Our talk last year with Eric and Paul was warmly received and we are delighted that they have agreed to return this year.
Authors Tracey Richardson and Rob Ritchie join us for the last of our four Hockey Writing in Canada author visits. We will discuss Tracey's novel, "Delay of Game" and Rob's novel "Orphans of Winter" and chat about hockey, research and fiction writing.

2023 Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival
Deadline: Friday, May 12
Attention young filmmakers! The libraries of Bruce and Grey counties want your films for the Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival. Short animated or live action films of a maximum of 10 minutes in length from students in grades 7 through 12 are eligible.
This volunteer board works to develop youth library programming, build our young adult collection, and foster leadership skills. Meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
